Hannah
showed musical talent at a very early age. She began
learning the harp with Stewart Green at nine, alongside
studies in piano with Christine Simister and Clare
Sutherland, recorder with Margaret Thorby and voice with
Peter Stearn and Mary Nicholson. She is much in demand
as a harpist and maintains a busy performance schedule
at venues throughout East Anglia. With a great deal of
experience and a wide range of repertoire she is popular
as a soloist for weddings and concerts.
Following a scholarship to the Birmingham Conservatoire,
she was awarded the degree of Bachelor of Music with
First Class Honours. She studied the harp with Robert
Johnston, the principal harpist of the City of
Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. She is also studying for
a diploma in vocal performance and she maintains a harp
teaching practice.
