From the age of 10
She studied the harp with Pauline
Rogers at the Bexley Music Centre before moving on to
take a Music degree at King’s College in London. From
this time She also worked with singing teacher Corinne Shirman-Sarti. Since 2001 she has been Assistant
Director of Music at King’s College School in Cambridge.
She has a small number of private harp students. In
recent years She has specialised in singing,
accompanying herself on her beautiful Dusty Strings
lever harp. She has performed in a wide variety of
venues, her sets including a mix of original material
and covers. She has had many years experience playing
at weddings and corporate events. She can provide a mix
of songs (both contemporary and traditional) alongside
purely instrumental pieces.
2007 saw the release of her debut CD
May the rain fall softly
which coincided with a gig in King’s College Chapel,
Cambridge. Tracks from her CD have also been played on
BBC Radio 2, Radio Cambridgeshire and Radio Wales. Her
second CD
Penny on the water
in due out in 2010.
