She graduated with an honours degree in Music from the
University of Nottingham in 1998 playing the flute and
piano.
After moving to London in 1999, She began studying the
harp with Emma Ramsdale and performed at informal concerts
at the Blackheath Conservatoire.
In
2006, She moved to York where she continued to study
the harp with Rachel Dent and began working as a private
harp, piano and flute teacher and freelance harpist
providing music for weddings and other functions.
