Alison
graduated from University of Leeds, Bretton Hall with BA (Hons)
Music Theatre in July 2005. Musically the harp has been
her great love since the age of eight, and she performs
regularly on both the Clarsach and the Concert harp. She
has provided the music for many weddings, and played
background music in local hotels for the last four years.
Some of these venues include, Durham Cathedral, Alnwick
Castle Gardens and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. She is
also an accomplished dancer, choreographer and teacher and
has worked in collaboration with actors, musicians and
dancers on a wide variety of arts projects.
Alison has had experience of providing background music
for many functions, events, concerts and shows, as well
as regularly entertaining guests with background music at
local hotels.
She has developed a repertoire which appeals to a wide
variety of tastes including classical, folk, popular and
many vocal selections. Alison is always happy to take and
arrange requests for new or different repertoire for your
event or functions, time permitting. Alison is a member
of the Musicians Union and is covered by Public Liability
Insurance for all her performances. |
