Erica
grew up in Southern California and her harp studies began
at the age of 11 with Dominique Piana at the University of
Redlands.
Erica’s winning competitions include The University of Southern California
/ ASTA (American String Teacher's Association) harp
division (1993) & The Redlands Bowl Young Artists
Competition (1996). After these successes, she went on to
study with Professor Kathleen Bride at The Eastman School
of Music. Here she earned a Bachelor's degree in Harp
Performance.
Along with her music studies, she graduated with an Arts Leadership
Certificate & a Management Certificate.
Erica enjoys performing at: weddings and
all types of functions, solo recitals, chamber music
recitals, harp ensembles & orchestral performances, etc.
During 2003 & 2004 she performed aboard
Cunard's luxury cruise liners, Queen Mary 2 & Queen
Elizabeth 2.
Erica now resides in the North East of England where she is continuing her
musical career. She has already performed with the
Northern Sinfonia and is the resident harp tutor at The
Sage Gateshead performing arts centre. |
