This harpist
plays the Celtic harp at weddings and other special
occasions.
She has played music since she was five years old.
During her career she has played all over the UK and
across Europe. She has played at numerous prestigious
venues including various major cathedrals, the
Birmingham NEC, and the Royal Albert Hall.
She took up the harp after trying one after a few
drinks! The Celtic harp is a smaller harp but it
creates a big modern sound. The fact the harp is
smaller means it is very versatile- for example if at a
wedding reception the guests move outside to catch the
sun she can simply pick up the harp and move with the
guests. She uses a small acoustic amplifier to boost
the level of the sound when playing at larger occasions
where there is a large amount of background noise to
make sure all the guests can hear the music she creates.
She plays a wide variety of music- from classical to
folk, show tunes to jazz and from old favourites to
current chart songs.

She will spend time with you to make sure the music she
plays will compliment the mood of your event. She also
writes and arranges music for the harp, so any special
requests can be catered for. The harp can create a
beautiful soundtrack to any event, whatever the occasion. |
