This is one of Ireland's
most exciting harping musicians. Recently, relocated to
Cheshire, her technical brilliance and wonderful
musicianship are matched by her vibrant style of
presentation. Her performances, particularly on her new
gold harp (pictured below) are simply spellbinding.
This harpist is a passionate
performer, composer and teacher, who enjoys a varied
career as a freelance concert harpist. A former student
of the Royal Academy of Music and Guildhall School of
Music and Drama in London, she holds a first class
honours degree in performance from the Royal Irish
Academy of Music and a first class Master's degree in
Arts Management and Cultural Policy from UCD.
Her early performing
career includes numerous awards at a national level,
including the Feis Ceoil Rose Bowl on 3 occasions &
continuous scholarship at the Royal Irish Academy of
Music for 10 years. She appeared on the Late Late Toy
Show at the early age of ten, performing her own
composition Raindrops and since then has travelled
Ireland, the UK, USA and Asia as a solo, chamber and
orchestral performer.
Her concert performances are extensive and varied,
ranging from solo concerto performances in the National
Concert Hall, to ongoing orchestral appearances with the
Irish Chamber Orchestra, RTÉ
Concert Orchestra, National
Symphony Orchestra and Irish Film Orchestra, to
appearances in concert with artists including Sinead
O’Connor, Josh Ritter, rap artist Kanye West and
renowned British comedian Bill Bailey.
She performs at weddings,
corporate events and other functions in the North West,
North, North East, East Midlands, West Midlands and
North Wales. Her playing and repertoire span all the
disciplines of the harp from classical harp to
traditional Irish harp.
