Aine began playing the harp with Brenda
Barron at the Foyle Irish Harp School which was co-founded
by Brenda and her father Seamus.
At the age of sixteen she became an assistant teacher at
the Foyle Irish Harp School.
During her time at the school Aine entered
the Deny Feis on many occasions. (The
Annual Derry Feis is the North West's largest
celebration of Irish musical culture), where she won the
solo Harpist event many times.
As an experienced Harpist Aine has given
recitals, played for many dignitaries
including Princess Ann,
President Bill Clinton and John Major and has played
in France and America.
Aine is
currently studying music at the University of Ulster,
Maggee Campus in Derry, which she received a scholarship
for. She has now entered her final year, with performance
as one of my main choices.
She is available to perform at weddings, corporate events,
product launches, etc. |
