Musician
of the Year Wales and a prize winner at the Llangollen
International Eisteddfod and North London Festival.
Angharad’s awards include the Laura Ashley Award, Renatta
Scheffel-Stein Award, the Nancy Richards Scholarship and
the James Pantyfedwen Scholarship.
Her orchestral appearances include the Royal Philharmonic
Concert Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra, the Cyprus
State Orchestra (Nutcracker Ballet 2004), National Youth
Orchestra of Wales (Principal) and the Royal Academy of
Music Symphony Orchestra, which joined Sir Elton John in
the summer of 2004 on his tour of the UK and North
America.
In
1997 she played for HRH the Prince of Wales in Powis
Castle, South Wales and also the Duchess of Gloucester in
2003, 2004 and 2005. She has also appeared with Bryn
Terfel, Chloe Hanslip and Katherine Jenkins in an
accompanying role.
In
2005 she performed at the BBC Proms under the direction of
Sir Colin Davis. She has also performed in many
prestigious chamber concerts at the Royal Academy of
Music, where she has studied with Professor Skaila Kanga
for over five years.
Angharad received her B.Mus with Honours in 2006 and will
complete her postgraduate studies in June 2007.
Weddings
Angharad has years of experience in playing at weddings
and functions at many prestigious hotels in central London
and the surrounding areas. She is always willing to have a
chat to the bride and groom to help them decide on the
perfect music for their perfect day. |
