This
professional harpist has played for functions and weddings
at numerous venues across London and surrounding counties
including Mansion House, the Landmark Hotel (Marylebone),
Penshurst Place (Kent) Knowlton Court (Kent), Ashdown Park
(Sussex) and Blenheim Palace (Oxfordshire). She has also
entertained for various livery company dinners in London
including at the Merchant Taylor’s Hall,
Pewterer’s Hall, and Armourer’s Hall for the Worshipful
Company of Armourers and Brasiers.
Most notable functions so far include playing for Princess
Anne at Buckingham Palace for a fundraising dinner in aid
of the St. Evelina’s Children’s Hospital and playing for
Lord Rothschild at his London residence, Spencer House.
She began learning the harp at
the age of six with Thelma Owen, with whom she learnt for
ten years before studying with Sioned Williams. At the age
of sixteen she gained a place in the National Youth
Orchestra of Great Britain, going on to become the
principal harpist for the following two years. This summer
she will graduate from St.Peter’s College, Oxford
University, where she holds both a Domus Academic
Scholarship and a Paul Geddes Instrumental Award. Whilst
at Oxford she has given solo recitals and played several
concerti at venues including the Holywell Music Room and
the Sheldonian.
She has a wide ranging and varied repertoire for weddings
and corporate events, which she is able to tailor to suit
your needs.
She also plays in a highly successful flute and harp duo. |
