Serafina graduated
with a First Class Honours degree in Music from the
prestigious Trinity College of Music, London, where she
was also awarded the String Faculty Silver Medal. She has
been playing for functions for ten years, and so whilst
young enough to present a fresh and vibrant feel in her
music, is also extremely experienced, and possesses an
extensive repertoire.
Serafina explores extended percussive techniques and music
from around the world, resulting in performances at venues
such as The Vortex jazz club, London, Cheltenham Jazz
Festival, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Royal
Opera House. |

During her four year fellowship at Dartington, she has
also collaborated on Western and Indian projects under the
direction of Ravi Shankar. She plays and records with many
pop bands as well as writing her own songs.
Serafina can provide the perfect elegant and enchanting
music for you ceremony, and then diversify for the
reception with a repertoire reflecting her interests in
jazz, pop music from the 1950s – 80s, as well as light
classical. Special requests are happily catered for, and
if a harp arrangement doesn’t already exist, Serafina can
usually arrange the piece for you. |
