After
studying the harp with Sidonie Goossens at the Guildhall
School of Music and Drama over fifteen years ago, Sheila
was engaged to play for the West-End show Evita. Freelance
work followed in 42nd Street, Phantom of the Opera, Oliver
and Beauty and the Beast.
Her repertoire comprises of popular tunes, songs from the
musicals, folk tunes and classical pieces, especially
arranged for her concert harp. She can use an amplifier at
larger parties.
Sheila entertains at Weddings, Corporate events,
promotions, anniversaries, birthdays and garden parties.
If required Sheila can also perform with a duet with
musicians on other instruments: flute, oboe, violin, etc.
Sheila has travelled as far a field as Chilford Hall.
Nearer venues include: St James' Palace, Mansion House,
Trinity House, Lincoln's Inn, Goldsmiths' Hall, the
Dorchester, Savoy, and Waldorf. She also often plays at
Livery Company dinners including Rolls Royce, Shell and
Volvo, Product Promotions for Vauxhall, Lancome and Estee
Lauder in Harrods and occasionally for Royalty. |
