Harpist - Glian North Wales / Cheshire
		Glian, born in 1983, is originally from Bala, North Wales. After gaining a performance and academic scholarship, she graduated with BMus (hons) at University of Wales Bangor in 2005. Competing has been a major part of her life since a very young child. Amongst Glian’s achievements she had first prize in the instrumental solo at the Urdd National Festival of Wales on two occasions and subsequently became a finalist for the Bryn Terfel Scholarship (2003 and 2005). She has also been a prize winner in the piano and harp competition at the National Eisteddfod of Wales annually from 2000 to 2006.
Playing the harp is an important part of her career, and she has a vast experience performing at theatres, venues and concert halls throughout Wales. Glian enjoys playing at different functions, including weddings. Her repertoire consists of different styles including classical, traditional and light music. Glian is currently a Postgraduate Student at Trinity College of Music, London.
