Welsh
harpist Kathryn was inspired to play the harp at the age
of 9, becoming a National Eisteddfod winner in both solo
and ensemble competitions and finalist in the Rotary Clubs
Young Musician of the Year.
A natural musician, Kathryn performs extensively with
orchestras, at weddings and private functions as well as
giving solo recitals. Since graduating from the Royal
Welsh College of Music and Drama as a Bachelor of Music
and with a Diploma in performance she has been in great
demand, giving professional performances in such places as
the Royal Festival Hall, The Royal Albert Hall and the
Houses of Commons.
She also travels internationally with Cor Meibon De Cymru
(South Wales Male Choir) with whom she has recorded a CD
and been recently appointed Harpist in Residence - a role
specially created for her.
