A
professional harpist who combines a career as a HPC
Registered Music Therapist, teacher and freelance
performer. She heads the Shrewsbury Music Therapy Unit,
which she set up in 1988, teaches piano and harp and as
a harpist performs in hotels, concert halls and with
orchestras throughout the country.
In addition she has done
examining work for harp and is involved with syllabus
writing for the London College Of Music at Thames Valley
University.
She started playing
the piano at 4, and the harp at 13. After graduating
from London College of Music, she undertook Postgraduate
Music Therapy training and teacher training. She has
played piano concertos and given recitals in London,
including being selected to perform in the Purcell Room,
as well as the Home Counties, Belfast and Bristol. She
has also performed Handel's Harp Concerto and Britten's
"Ceremony of Carols".

In July 2008, She was privileged to play harp for
her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra on her visit to Coalport China Museum. In 2000,
She released her
first CD "A Tapestry of Harp". "A really lovely disc! So
full of interest, so generous in length - played with
sincerity, musicianship, real flair and an obvious love
for the harp, which really comes across to your
