This harpist has completed a Masters in Harp performance at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama where she has already gained a BA(Hons) and Postgraduate Diploma in Performance. Through her years at the R.S.A.M.D she has studied solo, chamber and orchestral repertoire under her tutor Karen Vaughan (co-principal of the LSO). She has played with all the RSAMD’s orchestras throughout the six years, four years as principal harp, including tours around Britain and the RSNO Scottish Proms.  She has been involved in master classes with distinguished harpists such as Kathleen Bride, Frances Kelly and Natalia Sheymeyeva.

During the Scottish Opera Apprenticeship Scheme in January 2006 she played second harp in the orchestral pit, in the off stage band and also in a trio on stage in costume for Massenet’s ‘Cendrillon’. In February 2007 she auditioned within the RSAMD and was given the opportunity to play Debussy’s harp concerto ‘Danse Sacree et Danse Profane’ with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra in June 2007.

Her chamber music performances include a trio recital in St.Andrew’s University, 2006. She has also been involved with 'Side-by Side Concerts' with the Hebrides Ensemble in Berio's Folk Songs and various new compositions.
She has played with orchestras in and around Glasgow, Stirling and Cumbria, performing in many different venues including the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Edinburgh Festival theatre and Glasgow Theatre Royal.

Since 1999 She has been playing regularly at weddings and functions in various locations in and around Cumbria and Scotland, including Lancaster's Ashton Memorial which hosted a Cancer Care Charity Evening in the Presence of Sophie, Countess of Wessex. She plays two different harps the Clasach harp, which is more portable, and the larger Concert Harp. Her music covers many different styles, from well-known classical, traditional, and contemporary pieces.
