 She is
an internationally acclaimed harpist and
enjoys a varied career - having performed all over
Europe, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, and the USA.
In addition to playing for weddings and functions,
She
has been a featured regular performer in such
prestigious hotels as The Plaza, The Helmsley
Palace, and the St Regis in New York City, the
Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver Canada, and The
Berkshire Hotel on Oxford Street in London. She
has played aboard Holland America Line’s MS
Niew Amsterdam and with Sammy Davis Junior in
Reno, Nevada, USA.
She
is also well known for her artistry in historical
performance practice and has been a featured
soloist in both concerts and recordings with many of
Europe’s leading period instrument ensembles
including The Consort of Music, The Sixteen, and
The Purcell Quartet. She has played at The Proms
in The Royal Albert Hall and recorded the
soundtrack for the Merchant Ivory film Jefferson in
Paris, and appeared with The Netherlands Opera.
She has appeared as a soloist on numerous CD recordings
and on both Radio and Television in the
USA, Canada, and Europe. She has released five compact
disc recordings under her own name on
ASV Records Gaudeamus series. She also enjoys teaching
the harp and has conducted master
classes and workshops for festivals and music academies in
the USA, Canada, and Europe.
Her enthusiasm for the harp and its music comes across
readily in her performances whether it be
haunting medieval music on a period instrument or well
known favourites for a wedding celebration on
her classical pedal harp. Her vast experience enables her
to offer a distinguished and friendly service
with a wide range of repertoire performed on exquisitely
beautiful and unique harps. |
