Harpist Felicity

Felicity had always dreamed of playing the harp, so was overjoyed when, at the age of 12, she was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to commence lessons with Helen Arnold.

She progressed rapidly through the grades and now enjoys performing professionally in a wide range of musical settings. She plays for her school orchestra and a number of musical ensembles, including the Albertine Harp Ensemble, and has enjoyed playing for musical functions including weddings, concerts and other social events, both alone and as a member of a group.

Notable events include a "Jane Austen Evening" to help raise money for the Chestnut Tree Hospice, and performing alongside the Brighton Male Voice choir.

She has also participated in a number of musical festivals and won many awards, notably the Reigate and Redhill festival. Musical examiners have commented upon her "musicality" and "understanding of the music" and the "beautifully evolving melody" of the pieces she plays. Felicity also composes, sings in a number of choirs, and performs professionally on the piano. She acts as a pianist to the local Old Barn Nurseries and several small musical groups.
Felicity is also available to perform with her sister Bethany in their flute and harp duo. She has a wide repertoire ranging from classical to light music
