Hannah's Sample Repertoire List

Accompaniment for wedding preludes and receptions

Background harp accompaniment usually includes a range of musical styles to suit various tastes, including familiar classics, music from the movies, songs from musicals, light and popular tunes, original harp music from different periods and traditional folk music from around the British Isles. Some examples of the types of pieces that may be played are given on the accompanying sheet.

Music for the wedding service or ceremony

If you wish to use the harp to provide music for the processional, recessional or signing of the register during your civil ceremony or church service, you will need to specify your chosen pieces.

Making special requests

If you have a favourite piece of music that you would like to be incorporated in the play list then you may wish to make a special request. If your chosen music is not already included amongst my repertoire, and is suitable for performance on the harp, an arrangement of the music can usually be found. You will need to provide the full title of your music, the composer's name, and if possible a recording on tape or compact disc. A minimum of one month's notice is needed for any special request, in order to obtain and study the music well before your wedding day.
